When a call is received, a search for the dog is done, and, if found, the dog is returned to their home if there is identification on the dog. Dog licenses are issued by the Town Clerk at 518-696-3789 ext. 2 Please be sure your dogs are licensed and up-to-date on their rabies vaccination. Rabies infected wild animals are prevalent in our area. If an unvaccinated dog is bitten by a wild animal, the dog will be quarantined for six months at the Saratoga County Animal Shelter at the owner’s expense. Our number one priority is the safety and health of our community.
