DAY POP-UP FOOD PANTRY The Town of Day has partnered with the Regional Food Bank of North Eastern New York under a 2 year grant for a pilot pop-up food pantry. With the help of volunteers we hope that this effort will continue beyond the pilot program. The Food Pantry is held at Day Town Hall Community room once a month on the 3rd Thursday of the month. Distribution hours are 10:00am to 11:30 AM.
Caregiver Conference – On November 16, 2024, the county is having a conference for care givers. The County will pay for someone to stay with your loved one so you can attend. More details to follow
Kids at Heart Club – Programs are beginning for intergenerational experiences. The county will provide a “box” of activities but a senior must reach out to Rebecca Robarge ([email protected]). She will provide all the details. This month the “box” will include items to set up a community garden at your local community center. TOWN OF DAY COMMUNITY PARK PICKLEBALL COURT Bring your own net to the park, or borrow the portable net, paddles & balls from Day Town Hall (1st come 1st serve basis). The basketball court at the park is also striped for pickleball! Town of Day residents may borrow the equipment from Day Town Hall.
