THE TOWN OF DAY RECYCLING CENTER IS LOCATED AT THE CORNER OF NORTH SHORE ROAD AND HADLEY HILL ROAD.
TURNING ONTO HADLEY HILL ROAD FROM NORTH SHORE ROAD, THE RECYCLING CENTER IS ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROAD ON A SLIGHT RISE.


SUMMER 2020 GARBAGE SCHEDULE
MUST BE CURBSIDE BY 7:00AM
2020 Memorial Day week:  Pick-up Tuesday, May 26th
North Shore side of Lake
Pick-up Wednesday, May 27th South Shore side of Lake
2020 Summer schedule starting June 01st.: 
North Shore side of Lake - Monday's
South Shore side of Lake - Tuesday's
through Labor Day week

WINTER 2020 - 2021 GARBAGE SCHEDULE
Must be curbside by 7:00AM

Starting September 14, 2020:  Monday's - Both sides of Lake
thru May 24, 2021.  (If there 9s a Holiday on a Monday
pick-up will be on Tuesday)
Memorial Day week pick-up will be: 
Tuesday, June 01st - North side of Lake
Wednesday, June 02nd - South side of Lake
Summer schedule will resume with pick-up of garbage:
Monday's - North side of Lake and Tuesday's South side
of Lake  the following week.



SUMMER 2020 RECYCLING PICK-UP SCHEDULE
MUST be curbside by 7:00AM
Start of weekly pick-ups begins June 04, 2020.

WINTER 2020 - 2021 RECYCLING PICK-UP SCHEDULE
MUST  be curbside by 7:00AM
(Last weekly pick-up September 10th.)
Every other Thursday as follows:
September 24, October 08 & 22, November 05 & 19, December 03, 17 & 31, January 14 & 28, February 11 & 25, March 11 & 25, April 08 & 22, May 06 & 20.
(Start weekly pick-ups June 03rd, 2021)


If there is inclement weather, recyclables are picked-up on the following day.  If the following day is an inclement weather day, then the recyclables will be picked-up on the next scheduled pick-up day.

Recycling Center
Due to COVID-19 the re-use area is not available at this time.
  Nothing can be removed from or dropped off for the reuse area.

Saturday and Sunday 8 :00am - 4:00pm

The Recycling center will no longer be open on Tuesday's. 
Wednesday's hours will be 8 - 2 which will remain the
same throughout the year. Closed all legal holidays and severe storms.

SARATOGA COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES PROVIDED THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION ON TICK PREVENTION TIPS:
While biking, working, or spending time in wooded areas please use the following tips -
*Wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts to protect against ticks and other biting insects.
*Check for ticks every two to three hours while outdoors and brush off any ticks before they attach.
*Perform a full body check multiple times during the day, as well as at the end of the day to ensure that no ticks are attached.
*Consider use of repellents containing DEET, picaridin, or IR3535, following label instructions.
