Deputy Supervisor:
Town government is run by the Town Board as the executive, administrative, and legislative body of the Town.
The Town Board is responsible for:
The Town Board consists of the Town Supervisor and four Town Councilpersons. The Councilpersons are elected, part-time officials and must remain a resident of the Town. The positions are four-year terms.
The Town Board regular meeting is held on the 2nd Monday of the month with pre-auditing of the bills done at 6:45pm.
The Organizational meeting of the town board should be held as soon as possible after the New Year begins. Meeting for annual accounting by town officers and employees who receive or disburse monies must be held on or before January 20.
Budget meetings must be held within the times specified by statute for the consideration of the tentative budget, the preparation of the preliminary budget, holding a public hearing thereon, and for adoption of annual budget.
A special meeting of the Town Board may be called by the Town Supervisor at anytime by giving at least two days’ notice in writing to the other members of the Town Board of the time and place where the meeting is to be held. If requested in writing by two members of the Town Board, it must be done within 10 days of the request for a special meeting.
The Town Clerk, or their Deputy, is mandated by law to attend all Town Board meetings.

- Reviewing and Approving the Budget
- Reviewing and Approving Bills
- Appointing officers, boards and other personnel as necessary
- Adopting ordinances and local laws
